Dear Church Family,

Amazing to me that Christmas is only week after next. It seems to have snuck up us, at least it has on me. I hope we do not allow this sacred time to pass us by encumbered with the cares and pain you may be experiencing. We have just two weeks to get our hearts in the place where we can celebrate with sincerity the incredible truth that God became a man to save us. Actually that should be our daily celebration. Our Creator out of love became a man to redeem us from a temporal and sinful life, He came to change us, to fill is with His love, and then transport us into Eternal Life. Truly the Christmas message recorded in Luke 2:10-14never grows old. “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord… suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

Great Joy in that we have a great promise of eternal life. We have a great future. As Born again believers death is not the end, but the portal to Heaven. That fact in and of itself gives me peace…peace with the past, peace in the present, peace with the future.
